It was said they weren’t in a rush to get married following a whirlwind romance.
But and Hailey Baldwin have now been spotted heading into a New York City courthouse where marriage licences are issued.
The pop singer and model, who was wearing a white dress, casually strolled into the courthouse on Thursday hand-in-hand.
According to TMZ, the pair went in to get their marriage licence, the document needed in order to be legally married.
An eyewitness told the website that Justin appeared emotional. Crying, at one point he reportedly told his fiancee: “I can’t wait to marry you, baby.”
They also report another witness told them they were speaking to a ‘judge’, which they say suggests the pair may have even tied the knot, but they couldn’t confirm it.
In New York, a marriage licence is valid for 60 days from the time it’s filed, which means the pair will have to wed within the next two months – if they haven’t already.
Justin shocked his fans when he proposed to Hailey in the Bahamas on July 7 just months after the pair started dating again.
After the new surfaced, the singer gushed about Hailey in a sweet post shared on social media.
“Was gonna wait a while to say anything but word travels fast, listen plain and simple Hailey I am soooo in love with everything about you! So committed to spending my life getting to know every single part of you loving you patiently and kindly.
